* <code>json</code> and <code>jsonml</code> are specific to BaseX and can be used to output XML nodes in the JSON format (see [[JSON Functions]] for more details). Added with <font color='orangered'>Version 6.8</font>
* <code>raw</code> is BaseX-specific as well. It outputs Binary data is output as raw data, items and texts are returned in their internal format: , and no indentation and entity coding takes place, binary data is directly output as raw data, and all nodes except for text nodes are skipped.
